El Camino Real

It’s hard to believe we’re only about 60 miles outside Los Angeles. Looks like the odometer should wind out within a few miles +/- 6,000. It still hasn’t sunk in that I’m back and will be calling Southern California home again after 15 years. There are a lot of unknowns in my life right now but I’ve been working on globally positioning myself for the last few years so now that I have that more or less worked out I think some of the other elements will begin to come into focus.

A rather large Sur

We are on our way to Big Sur via coastal route 1. This is already proving to be some of the most picturesque pavement of the trip.
