My favorite thing about the Humbird Cheese shop is the font used for text of the cheese names. Not sure how well it will come out in this low res pic from my BB but I’ll give you a dollar if you can name it.
Hint: It was the font used for the menus in the original iPod but it dates back to the early 80′s.

Madison likes bikes

Madison is definitely a cyclocentric city…tons of commuters on bikes, road cyclists and people just cruising around town. They have huge bike lanes all over the city and someone was telling us how people still bike all winter long. That reminds me that one of the things I noticed about Chicago is that the rain didn’t really phase the locals. There was a pretty decent afternoon shower that didn’t seem to deter the cyclists or the people on the streets. I’m pretty sure it would have sent most New Yorkers running for cover.

Duracell

Reminds me of the Duracell commercial. “Students at Iowa Lakes Community College save the world by dancing around on giant pin wheels.” How Green of them, makes me want to buy their stuff.
Maybe they should spend a little more money on R&D and invent something more efficient than Lithium Ion so I wouldn’t have to carry 20 different chargers.

Reset

I had to delete my original blog because it was infected with a trojan…gotta love godaddy hosting.
Woke up this morning at the Omni in Indianapolis, not bad. Shout out to J&J for that. Today we will continue on in a more northern trajectory towards Madison, Wisconsin. We will be passing through Chicago which we skipped last summer so we will probably stop to check it out. Gotta get moving, we’ll send more updates from the road.
